Street Department

This department is responsible for the following:

• Maintenance on the streets and alley ways
• Repairing and replacing of signs such as stop signs, school signs, parking
• Mowing of parks, ball fields, ditches, creek banks and other areas in the City
• Trash pick-up for city buildings and parks
• Patching of potholes
• Leaf Pickup

Collection and Storm Water

Brief Description of the duties of this department:

• Cleaning and maintaining the Sanitary and Storm Water lines through out the City.
• Making taps into the Sewer System
• Cleaning the catch basins
• Maintenance on all lift stations

List of goals for the department:

• Keep working to minimize the Inflow and Infiltration of the sanitary sewer system.
• Setup schedule to clean storm and sanitary lines.
