The Building and Zoning Department is responsible for enforcing the Building and Zoning Codes of the City of Washington C.H..   The Department reviews building plans and issues permits for all residential construction within the City of Washington C.H..  The Department also issues zoning permits for all non-residential development within the city corporation limits.  The Building and Zoning division regulates land use through its zoning functions.
